Ingredients for Frozen Summer Slushie
- 5 Bananas (fresh)
- 3 Peaches (fresh)
- Pineapple Juice - 46 oz can
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups sugar (or adjust to taste)
- 1 12 oz can frozen lemonade (thawed)
- 2 12 oz cans frozen orange juice (thawed)
- Sprite, gingerale, or soda water
You'll also need a freezer-safe container or containers. I divided mine into 3 rectangular 9.5 cup reusable plastic containers. My mom used to use a 1-gallon ice cream pail.
How to Make Frozen Slush
Mix up bananas, peaches, and part of the pineapple juice in a blender. Add to water and sugar. Stir to dissolve. Add the lemonade, orange juice and remaining pineapple juice. Stir well. Pour the mixture into your freezer-safe containers and freeze.
To serve: scoop into glasses and add a little sprite or other carbonated mixer. Enjoy! It's so refreshing on a hot day!!
