In many past years, we've held a pumpkin-carving party. Decorations, festive food ideas, and costumes for little ones held my creative focus. A party's not in the plan this year and the kids have grown up so fast, I decided to finally sit down and work on an album featuring our "Boo-ti-ful" Halloween memories.
I'm starting with an orange 12x12 three-ring album and a large supply of pocket pages. I also picked up the Project Life Halloween Mini Kit over the weekend and purchased Retro Halloween overlays from Rebecca Cooper's Simple as That Digital Design shop.

I have lots of years to add, so 12x12 seemed like a good size for me. Halloween's a great theme for smaller albums too. Check out Simple as That's Mini Halloween Album and Eighteen 25's Halloween Through the Years Accordion Album for inspiration.
Now that I have my supplies, I've embarked on the gathering and sorting process. I hope to share some finished layouts soon! In the meantime I'm sharing a few of my favorite photos above. (In addition to the photo overlays, I used a dingbat font called Evilz for the bats.)
